Ashland Times-Gazette, Ashland, Ohio, Wednesday, June 7, 2017: Beach Haven, N.J.---Beverly Ann (nee) Briscoe) Welling, 60, of Beach Haven, New Jersey, went to be with the Lord on Monday, June 5, 2017, after a brief illness. Bev was surrounded by her loved ones. Bev was born Feb. 24, 1957, in Fort Dix, New Jersey, to Marian Ester (nee Bowman) Briscoe and Jack Earl Briscoe, who have preceded her in death. Bev was employed by Sink-R-Swim Retail for over 20 years and also at Coconuts/Tropics in Long Beach Island.

Bev loved the beach; she loved spending time cooking and entertaining friends and loved ones with her famous potato salad. She loved spending time with "The Mountain Girls" and their trips to the Poconos. She was a past president and member of Soroptimist International, Chapter LBI, for 20 years.

Bev will be deeply missed by her children, Bill (Amy) Welling of Montgomery, Pennsylvania, Elizabeth (Hucky) Hagen of Nova and Josh (Juli) Welling of Uniontown; by her brothers, Barry (Joanne) Briscoe of Massachusetts, Craig Briscoe of New Jersey, Jack (Linda) Briscoe II of Ohio, Michael (Cathy) Briscoe of New Jersey and Roger (Luann) Briscoe of New Jersey; and also grandchildren, Phillip, Erin, Alyson, Jaidin and James.

A celebration of Bev's life will take place at 2 p.m. June 17, 2017, at John and Gretchen Coyle's home at 534 Leeward Ave., Beach Haven, New Jersey. Contributions may be made in care of Josh Welling, 3269 Cosby St. NW, Uniontown, OH 44685, to help with expenses. (T-G 06/07/17).
