Worcester Telegram & Gazette, Worcester, Massachusetts, Wednesday, May 2, 1990: Upton---Leslie Everett Hamm, 75, of 2 Perry St., North Grafton, and formerly of Upton, died yesterday in the University of Massachusetts Medical Center, Worcester, after a long illness. He leaves his wife, Oma E. (Prall) Hamm, of North Grafton; a son, Lloyd L. Hamm Sr. of North Grafton; three brothers, Robert Hamm of Colorado, Samuel Hamm of Nebraska and Donald Hamm of Illinois; five sisters, Ruth Eckley and Vera Dunn of Nebraska, Ethel Brown of Minnesota, Vivian Laughlin of Oregon, and Alta Fay of Washington; seven grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. He was born in Rockport, Mo., son of Clifton E. and Edith H. (Dean) Hamm, and lived in Upton for seven years before moving to Grafton several months ago. Mr. Hamm was a self-employed tool-and-die maker in Colorado until his retirement. Private funeral services will be held tomorrow from the Williams-Pedersen Funeral Home, 45 Main St. There are no calling hours. The family requests that flowers be omitted. Memorial contributions may be made instead to the University of Massachusetts Medical Center, division of oncology, 55 Lake Ave., Worcester, 01655.
