The Wichita Eagle, Wichita, Kansas, Friday, December 5, 2014: Stuber, Ivan LeRoy, was born April 30, 1923, to Louie and Mollie Stuber in Wichita, Kan. He was orphaned at 7, and was taken in by his uncle and aunt, Cliff and Nellie Bruner. Ivan joined the Army Air Force to serve in the Second World War and married the love of his life, Faith Gordon, immediately before deploying to India. After receiving an honorable discharge, he worked as an oilfield roughneck while in school, and received his Bachelor of Science in Geology degree in 1950 from the University of Oklahoma. He led his life as an example for others and leaves many friends and relatives to cherish his memory. Now he rests in peace, having left as Faith held his hand and told him how much she loves him. Graveside services will take place at 2:30 p.m. Friday, Dec. 5, at the Leavenworth National Cemetery. Arr: Highland Park Funeral Home, Kansas City, Kansas.
