Oct. 11, 1994 at the Homestead Retirement Home, Elkhorn. He was born Aug. 31, 1914, in River Falls, WI, the son of Elmer and Lulu Belle (Alton) Enloe. He married Gretna Waller Jan. 30, 1937 in Spring Valley, WI, she preceded him in death May 17, 1969. He then married Loraine Harder April 24, 1971, in Ft. Worth, TX; she preceded him in death May 12, 1988. He was a member of the Elkhorn School Board. He had been employed an as insurance agent and also part owner of the Mason Insurance Agency in Elkhorn.
Surviving are 2 daughters, Deanna Lauderdale of Elkhorn, Linda (Robert) Behrens of Elkhorn; a son, Thomas (Vicky) of Elkhorn; 5 grandchildren: Peggy (Dan) Walbandt, Robert Lauderdale, Daniel (Mary) Lauderdae. Shelly (Raymond) Schiller, and Natalie (Mark) Lockhart ; nine great-grandchildren: Jamie, Jenna, Jason, Walbrandt, Michael, Kayla Lauderdale, Joshua, and Jenell Schiller, Nathan and Jordan Lockhart; a brother, Harry Enloe of Beaverton, OR; 2 sisters, Grace Shella of River Falls, and Wilda Enloe of River Falls a sister-in-law, Ethel Enloe of Ft. Worth, TX; also several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by 2 brothers, Harold and Royal Enloe; and a sister, Helen Enloe.
Funeral services will be held on sat., Oct. 15, at 11:00 a.m. at St. John's Lutheran Church with Rev. Douglas Demlow officiating. Burial will be in Hazel Ridge Cemetery, Elkhorn. Friends may call at St. John's Lutheran Church on Saturday one hour prior to service from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. Memorials may be made to St. John's Lutheran Church, the Elkhorn Elementary School Music Program or the American Cancer Society. Betts Funeral Home, Elkhorn, is handling the arrangements.
His family has many happy memories of a very kind, gentle and loving father and grandfather.
