Dayton Daily News, Dayton, Ohio, February 27, 1989, Page C4: Lynch, Bess M., age 64, of Butler Twp., passed away Saturday evening at Miami Valley hospital after a lengthy illness. The part of Bess that will never die has been carried into the presence of her Lord and Savior to live forever. Preceded in death by her husband Larry in 1987. She is survived by 2 daughters, Judy Tee and husband, Herb Smith of Englewood, Becca and Bruce Evans of Newark, De: 1 sister, Ethel and husband, Larry Van Tine of Dayton; 3 brothers, Hiram and wife Betty Johnson of Dayton, A. B. and Annabelle Johnson of Hazard, Ky., Reed Jr. and Carol Johnson of Englewood; 5 grandchildren, Nicole, Morgan, Tony, Karin and Brian Smith and Ryan Lawrence Watson; many nieces and nephews, cousins and special friends whom she loved dearly. Bess attended the First Pentecostal Church of Murlin Hgts., was Past Matron of Camelia Chapter No. 562 O.E.S., member of 1974 Matron Order of Eastern Star and the Dayton Lupus Club. Graveside services for family and friends will be held at 1:00 PM Tuesday at the Forest Hills Cemetery, 11890 N. Dixie Dr., with Rev. Edward R. Ralston officiating. There will be no visitation. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Dayton Lupus Club, PO Box 223, Dabel Station, Dayton, OH 45420. Morton & Whetstone Funeral Home, Vandalia in charge of arrangements.
