He was 87 years old, born July 21, 1899 in Allegan County, Mich. He was a retired mechanic, formerly employed with Millburg Growers Exchange and the R. B. Collis Company. He was a member of the Sportsman's Club. Survivors include his wife, the former Helen Sutherland; a son, Jean, Albany, Ga.; and a brother, Shirley, Sister Lakes. Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 11 a.m. at Fairplain chapel of Florin funeral service. Burial will be in North Shore Memory Gardens. Memorials may be given to the Heart fund. Friends may call at the funeral home.
