McGlasson, 89, died at 2:50 a.m. Thursday, April 7, 1994, in Jennie Stewart Memorial Hospital in Hopkinsville, Ky. Services will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at Gilbert Funeral Home, with Brother George Marshall officiating. Burial will be in Mulkeytown Cemetery. Visitation will be after 1 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to the Church of Christ in Christopher. Mrs. McGlasson was a homemaker. She was a member of the Church of Christ. She was born Aug. 7, 1904, in Coello, to Lucas O. Harrison and Martha (Flatt) Harrison. She married Ralph McGlasson on Oct. 14, 1922, in Benton. He died Sept. 6, 1978. Survivors include one daughter and son-in-law, Lawanda and Francis Swain of Hopkinsville, Ky.; one son and daughter-in-law, Ervin (Mac) and Phyllis McGlasson of Decatur; four grandchildren; and five greatgrandchildren. She was preceded in death by four sisters, one infant brother, parents and husband.
