Corona Daily Independent, Corona, California, Monday, May 8, 1967, Page 3, Col. 1: Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. n Thomas Mortuary Chapel tomorrow for Leroy C. Carroll, 55, of 207 West Kendall, who died Saturday at Corona Community Hospital. Born July 31, 1911 in Liberal, Missouri, he came to Corona with his parents in 1913.

He attended Corona schools, graduating form Corona High School, class of 1929. He married Charlotte Frazer in 1933. He was employed by the city street department for 21 years. For the past 16 years he was employed as shop foreman for the Citizen's Transportation Company in Riverside. He was a retired member of the Corona Volunteer Fire dept. which he served for 20 years. He was a member of the First Congregational Church.

It is the wish of the family that flowers be omitted and in lieu of flowers, those who wish may make a donation to the Pilgrim's Pine Camp Fund of the first congregational church or at Thomas Mortuary.

He is survived by his wife, Charlotte in Corona; one son, Kenneth L. Carroll of Davis, two daughters, Mrs. Dorothy Kornder of Santa Clara and Mrs. Doris Lynn of Corona; and five grand-children.
