Mrs. Strong was a member of First United Methodist Church. Funeral will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at First United Methodist church by the Revs. Louis Mulkey and Leonard Byers. Burial will be in Oakland Cemetery by Hardwicke Funeral Home. Survivors are a son, Edward D. Strong of Humble, Texas; two daughters, Mrs. Sonia Strong Pendergrass of Rolla, Mo., and Mrs. Gaye Strong Taylor of Overland Park, Kan.; four grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
