Terril---Funeral has been held at the United Methodist church of Terril for Lloyd Charles (Tommy) Michael, 66, of Terril. He died at the Spencer Municipal Hospital Sept. 12 after a long illness. The Rev. Robert A. Williams officiated at the rites. Burial was at Fairview Cemetery near Terril. Mrs. Michael was born Aug. 23, 1905, at Terril, the son of Mr. and Mrs. John Henry Michael. Except for a few years spent at Staples and Pine City, Minn., he was a lifetime resident of the Terril Community. He married the former Hazel Eckley March 30, 1927, in Spencer. Mr. Michael was associated with the Terril school system throughout his adult life until his retirement in 1967, which marked the end of 30 years of service to the school. He was a member of the Terril Masonic Lodge and Terril United Methodist Church. He is survived by his wife, Hazel; one son, Bill of Pine River, Minn., on daughter, Mrs. Donald Shirk of Sigourney; seven grandchildren, one great-grandchild, two brothers and two sisters. His parents, three sisters and one brother preceded.
