Posted at findagrave.com: William Davenport Bull was born in Jefferson, Ohio to William Bull and Nancy Rosanah "Jackson" Bull, William Bull moved with his family to Wisconsin, from Greene County, Ohio. William Davenport Bull married Martha Ellen "Nellie" Kirkpatrick, March 31, 1874 in Grant, Wisconsin. William stayed in Wisconsin when his parents and some of the children moved to Denton County, Texas. His Father died of a fever in Oklahoma, Territory, after his death the family proceeded by wagon to Denton County, Texas. William and his wife Martha moved to to Shasta County, California. William and Martha Bull opened up their home to a young girl named Margaret Payne that lived with them after her father Joseph Payne passed away. Margaret married Charles Maupin. This information furnished from Judith Lenhart. There is no monument for William, but we have a monument for his wife Martha who died two years before him. His death records says he died in Shasta County. I am placing him in this cemetery with his wife.
