Seattle Daily Times, Seattle, Washington, Tuesday, September 16, 1947, Page 17, Col. 2: Mrs. Francis H. Calvert. Funeral services for Mrs. Julia A. Calvert, 72 years old, a former Seattle resident, will be held in the Scott-Price Funeral Chapel, Auburn, at 2 o'clock Friday. Burial will be in Acacia. Mrs. Calvert, who came to Seattle with her parents in 1889, died in Bakersfield, Calif., Saturday, while visiting a sister, Mrs. Hazel Goetz. For the past 12 years, Mrs. Calvert had lived in Auburn. Prior to moving to Auburn, she had lived in South Seattle and Rainier Valley. She was born in Minnesota. The widow of Francis H. Calvert, Mrs. Calvert is survived by Mrs. Goetz and two brothers, Vernon E. and Sidney J. Butts, both of Seattle.
