Funeral services for Mrs. Josephine Louise Smith will be held at the Boxwell Brothers Funeral Home this afternoon at 4 o'clock, with Dr. R. C. Snodgrass pastor of the First Christian Church officiating. Mrs. Smith, 34 years old well known operator of an Amarillo beauty shop, died at her home, 1706 Filmore Street late Thursday night. She was the owner of the Home Beauty Shop and had resided in Amarillo a number of years. She was a member of the Security Benefit Association and the Women's Benefit Association. She is survived by her husband, Ernest Smith, a carpenter and contractor, a daughter Betty Jean; her parents Mr. and Mrs. Walter Ridner of Amarillo; a brother, Floyd Ridner, Amarillo and a sister, Mrs. W. W. Clemmons of Cedar Rapids, Iowa. Burial will be in Llano Cemetery, and pallbearers will be Albert Conley, Luther Day, Byron Vermillion, C. A. Camp, Eugene Elder and Robert Cline.
