Bio posted at findagrave.com: He married Dessie Young on February 10, 1917 in Ellsinore, Carter Co., MO. Aunt Annie remembers him and remembers before his death hearing him softly say to Elzina, his 5-year-old and only daughter, as he touched her cheek, "my sweet little girl."

Published in the 4-11-1929 edition of The Current Local, Van Buren, MO, on the front page (use permission give). Lee Link, age 32, died at his home here Wednesday of last week following a serious illness of about 6 months. He is survived by his wife and three small children, his father and mother, Mr. and Mrs. A. M. Link, one brother, Elbert, six sisters, Mrs. Wiley Smith, Mrs. Bob Robinson, Mrs. J. A. Henz and Miss Rachael Link, all of Ellsinore. Also Mrs. Ed Leach of Millspring and Mrs. William Leach of Van Buren. All were present at the funeral. A brief funeral service was held at the home Thursday afternoon by M. W. of A. Lodge of which he was a member. The funeral was conducted the same afternoon by Rev. C. A. Murray of Van Buren and Rev. H. H. Stratton of Ellsinore at the Robertson cemetery where interment took place. An unusually large crowd attended the funeral services."--Ellsinore Cor.
