From Grandma Flack's Scrapbook, McDonough County Genealogical Society, Macomb, Illinois, 2001: Chas. Bullock Dies At Age 72 At Home. Charles Bullock, 72, Macomb insurance and real estate dealer for most of his life, passed away at 10:30 o'clock last night at his home at 304 North McArthur street after an illness with heart trouble since Jan. 11 of this year. Funeral services will be held at 2:30 o'clock Sunday afternoon at the Dodsworth-Piper funeral home with Rev. Whitcomb officiating. Burial will be at Oakwood cemetery. Friends may call at the Dodsworth-Piper chapel after 5 p.m. today. He last operated a real estate and insurance business at 129 1/2 south side of the public square, but sold his business a few months ago after his health forced him to give it up. He was a member of the Masonic lodge, Royal Arch Masons, and Commandery. He was also a member of the First Presbyterian church for 30 years. He was born Oct. 6, 1874, in Bethel township of this county and was a lifelong resident of this county. He moved to Macomb in 1907. He was 73 years, 11 months and 25 days old at the time of his death. He was a son of Thomas B. and Harriett (Kirkpatrick) Bullock, who are deceased. He was married Aug. 12, 1909, to Estelle Baymiller, who predeceased him. He leaves two step-children, Viola Baymiller Dunsworth and Walker Baymiller of Macomb. He had three sisters and two brother, but all preceded him in death.
