Kathryn Hoskins Kirkpatrick, 83, of Hannibal, died Friday, May 18, 2007 at Barnes Jewish Hospital in St. Louis. Funeral Services will be at 3:30 p.m. Tuesday, May 22, at the James O'Donnell Funeral Home in Hannibal. Wendell D. Kreider will officiate. Burial will be at Grand View Burial Park in Hannibal. There will be no visitation. Mrs. Kirkpatrick was born May 18, 1924, in Hannibal to Thomas P. and Alice M. Randall Moss. She was first married to Charlie C. Hoskins on October 2, 1940 in Hannibal, MO. He preceded her in death October 9, 1976. She later married Walter Kirkpatrick on June 17, 1988. in Hannibal, MO. He preceded her on October 14, 1996. Survivors include 4 Sons, Don Hoskins (Becky) of LaJunta, Colorado, Jimmy Hoskins (Debbie) of Hannibal, MO., Steve Hoskins of Jefferson City, MO., Marcus Hoskins of Lincoln, Illinois, 2 Daughters, Brenda Hussong (Joe) of Hannibal, MO., Julie Welchert (Mark) of Quincy, IL., 1 Brother, Jerry Moss of Quincy, IL.., 4 Sisters, Pauline McIntosh of Hannibal, MO., Wanda Gibbons (Virgil) of Hannibal, MO., Linda Gottman (Jerry) of Hannibal, MO., Juanita Zerby of Heston, Kansas, ; 33 grandchildren, 42 great grandchildren, 6 great great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. She is also preceded in death by her parents, 3 sons; Charles Hoskins, Nelson Hoskins, Darrell Hoskins, 2 daughters; Joann Hoskins Creech, Bonnie Hoskins Taylor, 2 brothers; Harold Moss, Buddy Moss and 2 sisters; Louise Bross and Shirley DeLaPorte. Mrs. Kirkpatrick was a nurse's aide at Beth Haven Nursing Home for several years. She attended the Mennonite Church and First Assembly of God. She enjoyed working with her flowers and spending time with her little dog, BB and being with her family. Memorial contributions may be made to Mennonite Church or First Assembly of God in care of the James O'Donnell Funeral Home. . Pallbearers will be Jimmy Hoskins, Jamie Hoskins, Justin Hoskins, Caleb McAfee, Adam McAfee, and Joe Hussong.
