Perkins, 70-year-old Dexter resident died Saturday at the Dexter Memorial Hospital. Mr. Perkins was born Feb. 23, 1907 at Lutesville, the son of John and Martha Elizabeth Euker Perkins. He was a retired salesman. On March 18, 1931*, he married Mae Eaton, at Acorn Ridge, and she survives. Other survivors include three sons, Frank A. Perkins, Corona, Calif.; Sgt. Maj. Gary O. Perkins, Columbia, S.C.; Earl T. Perkins, Dexter; and four grandchildren. Visitation begins today at 3 p.m. at the Rainey Funeral Home, with funeral service scheduled for Tuesday at 2 p.m. at the Rainey Chapel. Rev. Leon Slover, United Methodist Church of Dexter, will officiate and burial will follow in the Dexter Cemetery.
