Lexington Herald, Lexington, Kentucky, Monday, October 19, 1964, Page 14, Col. 5: Berea---Mrs. Florence Mitchell hays, 68, died in Berea College Hospital at 2 p.m. Sunday of a heart condition. She was a native of Madison County and member of the Glades Christian Church. Survivors are three sons, Dr. Earl T. Hays, Jr., Berea; Albert Hays, McKee, and Elbridge Hays, Miami, Fla., and two grandchildren. Services will be conducted at the Wray Funeral Home at 2 p.m. Tuesday. Burial will be in the Berea Cemetery. The body is at the funeral home.
