Asbury, former state highway commissioner and Arizona businessman who died Sunday in St. Joseph's Hospital. He was 60. Asbury served on the highway commission from 1959 until 1965 and was chairman in 1984. He was president of Crystal Ice & Cold Storage Co. The Winslow native came to Phoenix in 1913, was past president of the Phoenix Chamber of Commerce, and a director of the Valley National Bank. He served on the Advisory Council of Navy Affairs, as co-director of the Civil Defense Joint Council for Phoenix and Maricopa County and was an American Legion member. Survivors include his widow, Angela, and seven sons. The funeral will be held in Trinity Episcopal Cathedral with entombment at Greenwood Mausoleum.
