He was born March 17, 1928 to Harold Guy and Myrtle Mae Curtice in Willow Island, Nebraska. He was preceded in death by his parents and sister Mary Etta. Surviving Harold is his wife of 63 years Royla Lee, son Harold Craig and his wife Wendy, and daughter Marcia Curtice. He is also survived by his grandchildren Stephanie Curtice, Melinda (Sean) Coburn, Amanda (Shawn) Wadsworth, and Taylor (Kerry) Russell, and great grandchildren Addison and Isla Wadsworth, as well as brother Archie (Alice) Curtice. Harold had a great love for animals as well as the outdoors and fishing. He was known for his tinkering and ability to fix anything. Harold had a way with his grandchildren and offering his advice and life lessons. He loved to talk to anyone who would lend an ear. Funeral Services for Harold will be held 2:00 p.m., Saturday, November 19, 2011, at Chapel Hill Funeral Home with interment to follow at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be held Friday from 8:00 a.m. - 8:00 p.m., as well as Saturday from 8:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be made to the Oklahoma Humane Society.
