Hutchinson News, Hutchinson, Kansas, Saturday, December 23, 1989, Page 37, Col. 2: Ethel E. McAdams, 82, of 1410 Arthur, died Dec. 22, 1989, at Hutchinson Hospital after a long illness. She was born April 23, 1907, at Mayfield, the daughter of George and Mary Erhard. She lived in Hutchinson since 1965, and was a homemaker. She was a member of Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church, South Hutchinson, the "My Friends" Physically Handicapped Club, and the Friends and Neighbors Club, both of Hutchinson. On Oct. 13, 1956, she married Foster W. "Mae" McAdams at Whitewater. He died Aug. 30, 1988. Survivors include: a son, Robert Jackson, Newton; a daughter, Jeanne Rietcheck, Denver; a step-daughter , Sharon Ball, Springfield, Mo.; 11 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. Funeral Mass will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church, South Hutchinson, Father Colin Boor presiding. Friends may call from noon to 9 p.m. today, and from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Sunday and Monday, at Elliott Mortuary, Hutchinson. Burial will be in Fairlawn Cemetery, Hutchinson. Memorials may be sent to Hospice of Reno County.
