Margaret Terrell Smyth

Dallas Morning News, Dallas, Texas, Wednesday, June 24, 1959, Section I, Page 6: Mrs. W. Rowe Verschoyle, 45, of 1519 Sereno Drive, a native of Dallas, died Tuesday in a Dallas hospital after a short illness. Mrs. Verschoyle was a graduate of Woodrow Wilson High School, Baylor University and Southern Methodist University., She was an officer in the Pierian Club and member of Park Cities Baptist Church. Survivors are her husband; three sons, W. Rowe Verschoyle, Jr., James Henry Verschoyle and Charles Henry Verschoyle II of Dallas; her mother, Mrs W. J. Smyth of Dallas; a sister, Mrs. John P. Searls of Marfa, and a brother, J. E. Smyth of Lafayette, La. Funeral services will be held at 4 p.m. Wednesday at Sparkman's Funeral Chapel, 10501 Garland Road, with Dr. Herbert R. Howard officiating. Entombment will be at Hillcrest Mausoleum.*
