Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. on Friday at the Schmit Chapel in Tampico for August A. Jensen, who died Wednesday at the Morrison Public Hospital. The Rev. David DeFor, the pastor of the Tampico Church of Christ, officiated. Burial was in Tampico Cemetery. Mrs. David Hoover was at the organ during the services, with Archie Yarde singing "Beyond the Sunset" and "Safe in the Arms of Jesus." Pallbearers were Howard Ackeberg, Eldon Adams, Richard Kelly, Harry Hurd Jr., Lowell Egert and Howard Rasmusson. Flowers were cared for by Mrs. Howard Batten, Mrs. Bill Turnow and Hillcrest Florists.
