Mrs. Medhaug and her husband owned and operated Elk Run Grocery for 29 years, retiring in 2000. Survived by: her husband; a son, Joseph (Amy) of Evansdale; three daughters, Vicki (William) Zimmer of Wittmann, Ariz., Judy (Roger) Turner of Elk Run Heights and Susan (Kris) Hansen of Cedar Falls; 11 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren; and five great-great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by: a daughter, Teresa; a son, Martin; three brothers, Francis, David and Phillip Wildeboer; and four sisters, Verbena Luck, Elizabeth Smith, Florence Luck and Delores Stearns.
