Gothard, 57, a shoe salesman will be held at 1 o'clock Thursday in Butterworth's chapel. Mr. Gothard of 1935 1/2 Eighth Av. W. died Sunday while on a fishing trip to Neah Bay. He had been a salesman for the Edison Brothers Co. for 25 years. Mr. Gothard was born in Atlantic, Iowa. He came to Seattle in 1957 from Minneapolis. Surviving are his wife, Enid; two sons, Jack E., Phoenix, Ariz., and Elner J. Gothard, Vashon Island; a daughter, Mrs. Norman Book, Minneapolis; his mother, Mrs. Stanton Gothard and a sister, Mrs. Earl Waters, both of Omaha, and ten grandchildren.
