She was preceded in death by her husband, Edward Lee Kirkpatrick Jr.; parents, Robert M. and Sallie West Anderson Buchanan; son, Alan Buchanan Kirkpatrick; sister, Martha B. Carroll; and brothers, William A., Robert M. and John W. Buchanan. Survivors include her daughters, Jan Kirkpatrick Giordano (Peter) and Lee Kirkpatrick Estep (Danny); son, Brett Turnley Kirkpatrick (Irene) of Beverly, Mass.; granddaughters, Rachel Estep and Mariah Kirkpatrick; grandsons, Jason and Ryan Estep, and Nicholas and Michael Giordano; and brother-in-law, J. Monroe Kirkpatrick. A funeral service will be conducted at 11 a.m. today at Calvary United Methodist Church with the Rev. Rosemary Brown and Dr. Peter Van Eys officiating. A graveside service will follow in Woodlawn Memorial Park. Visitation with the family will be held from 10-11 a.m. today at the church. Active pallbearers will be Nicholas Giordano, Peter Giordano, Danny Estep, Harvey T. Kirkpatrick Jr., Alvin Brengelman and Philip Duke. Honorary pallbearers will be members of the Red Letter Sunday School Class of Calvary UMC. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial gifts to Calvary UMC Memorial Fund or Alive Hospice.
