Mobile Register, Mobile, Alabama, Monday, September 23, 1974, Page 25, Col. 5: Mrs. Ruth Mayo flake--Age 76, a native of Escambia County and resident of 901 Cloverdale Drive, Mobile, Alabama, died Sunday, September 22, 1974 at 5 a.m. in a local hospital. She is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Alma Jean Chapman, of Mobile and Mrs. Lucille Delsignore, of Pensacola, Floria; one son, John r. flake, of Pensacola; two sisters, Mrs. Mencille Mayo Williams and Mrs. Bertha Mayo Ramey, both of Mobile; nine grandchildren, four great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and other relatives. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, September 24, 1974, at 4 p.m. from the chapel of Radney Funeral Home. Interment will be in Magnolia Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5 p.m. Monday, September 23, 1974. Arrangements by Radney Funeral home, Mobile.
