State Times Advocate, Baton Rouge, Louisiana, January 24, 1935, Page 8, Col. 4 & 5: News was received by Miss Maybel Gauthier of the death of her brother, Wylie Gauthier who passed away at his home in Inglewood, Calif. on Tuesday night. The funeral will be held there today. Mr. Gautheier is well known here where he was establishedin business before going West about 15 years ago. He is survived by his wife, three sons, and a daughter and three sisters, Miss Maybel Gauthier, Mrs. Jones Austin of Baker and Mrs. Del G. Tinney of New Orleans.
