Barney, age 89 of Shreveport, LA on Saturday, August 6, 2005 at 10:00 a.m. Officiating will be Rev. Don Fletcher. Interment to follow in Centuries Memorial Park. Visitation will be at the funeral home on Friday from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
Mrs. Barney entered into rest on August 3, 2005 after a lengthy illness. She was preceded in death by her husband, Elmer A. Barney and a brother, Sherrill Boulware. She is survived by one daughter, Shirley Stearns; two sisters, Blanco Johnson and Clariece Herminghuysen and husband David; three grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews, all of Shreveport, LA.
