Springfield Union, Springfield, Massachusetts, Sunday, August 14, 1966, Page 40, Col. 1: Robert Duncan Former Harness Secretary, Dies. North Beverly--Robert T. Duncan, 81, former Longmeadow resident who served as past secretary of the Connecticut Valley Trotting Association, died Wednesday at North Beverly after a brief illness. A retiree of the City of Springfield Engineering Department, Mr. Duncan had been employed as a real estate broker. The ex-Longmeadowite took an active part in harness racing matinees conducted by the CVTA, having duties and other details. Mr. Duncan is survived by his wife Eleanor (Pratt); a sister, Mrs. Winifred Beadway of San Gabriel, Cal.; a brother Ralph of Cape May, N. J., a daughter, Mrs. Walter Rose, Springfield and grandchildren. There will be a private funeral today. Burial will be in the Duncan family plot in Hillcrest Cemetery, Monson, Monday at 2 p.m.
