The Daily News, Longview, Washington, Saturday, August 28, 2004: Emmarine "Ema" (Lindsay) Wright, 83, of Longview, died Aug. 26, 2004. She was born April 5, 1921, in Vallejo, Calif., and graduated from high school in Lompoc, Calif. She moved to the local area 24 years ago from Newburg, Ore. Mrs. Wright was a commercial artist in her youth and a professional seamstress for many years. She owned and operated Ema's Tailoring & Alteration Shoppe and retired from Bartel's in 1995. She married James Wright Jr. on Jan. 11, 1943, in Blue Earth, Minn. He survives her. Also surviving are three sons, James Wright III, John Wright and Robert Wright; a daughter, Annetta "Anne" Berkenmeier; a sister, Dora Lindsay; seven grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren. A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 11, at Valley View Church of God. Private interment will take place.
