Manley, eighty-five years old, prominent retired farmer of near Weston, Mo., died yesterday at the home of his daughter, Mr. M. H. Carmichael, in Winthrop, Mo. He had made his home with Mrs. Carmichael the past six years, since the death of Mrs. Manley. Mr. Manley was born in Rushville, Mo., in 1850, and moved to Platte County when he was fifteen years of age. Surviving are four children, Mrs. Carmichael and Mrs. Rosa Cook, both of Winthrop; James G. Manley of Weston, and Mrs. C. S. Bland of Denver, Colo.; one brother, Lee Manley of Weston; sine grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
