The Paducah Sun, Paducah, Kentucky, Dec. 22, 2010 : East Prairie, Mo. - Millard Dale "Tom" Ferrell, 89, of East Prairie died at 8:51 p.m. Monday at East Prairie Nursing Center. Mr. Ferrell owned and operated Ferrell's Supermarket and was a member of Full Gospel Church. Surviving are three sons, Tommy Ferrell of Springfield, Dennis Ferrell of Paducah, Ky., and Randy Ferrell of East Prairie; three daughters, Sheila Smithson of East Prairie, Sharon Moore of Washington and Connie Willman of St. James; one brother, Paul David "P.D." Ferrell of Wahpeton, N.D.; one sister, Jeanne Elliott of Louisville, Ky.; 13 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, Florene Kirkpatrick Ferrell; one grandson; six brothers; and one sister. His parents were E. Earl Ferrell and Mary Velda Alley Ferrell. Services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at Full Gospel Church in East Prairie with Mike Johnson officiating. Burial will be in IOOF Cemetery in Charleston. Friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m. today at the church. McMikle Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
