Vincennes Sun-Commercial, Vincennes, Indiana, Friday, January 24, 2014: Wanda V. Kirkpatrick, 93, peacefully flew away to be with Jesus on Saturday, Jan. 18, 2014, at home with her family at her side. Wanda was born on May 31, 1920, the daughter of Homer and Hester Miller. Wanda and her husband, Tom, were missionaries from 1966-1982 in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, and Nairobi, Kenya, for Christian Missionary Fellowship. She was a homemaker, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She is survived by her daughters, Sharon L. Reel and her husband, Larry, of Wheatland, and Susan V. Smith of Charlotte, N.C.; a brother, Max Miller of West Lafayette; six grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren. Wanda was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Thomas C. Kirkpatrick, who passed away in 1982. and one infant great-grandson. Following a private graveside service in Brownsburg, she was laid to rest beside her husband.
