Henry Clay Bushnell

Junction City, Jan. 31---Henry Clark Bushnell died at his home in the Riverview section near Junction City Monday evening of a heart attack. He was the son of James A. and Sarah Bushnell, pioneer residents of this section. Mr. Bushnell was born November 3, 1871, on a farm south of Junction City, part of which he occupied at the time of his death. For many years he operated a large orchard along the highway, and at one time he was head of the Valley Apple Grower's association. He was a graduate of Monmouth Normal school. In March, 1896, Mr. Bushnell married Miss Livva Skaggs of Junction city, who survives him. He also leaves four sisters, Mr. William Pitney, Mrs. Charles Ehrman, Mrs. Robert Movius, all of Junction City; Mrs. W. R. Beebe of Ashland and one brother, Glenn Powell of San Francisco. Funeral arrangements will be announced later from the Miller chapel.
