Unknown Franklin Co., Illinois area newspaper, December 26, 1959: Former Resident of Mulkeytown Area Dies. Mrs. Allie E. Kirkpatrick, 84, widow of the late Jones Kirkpatrick and a former resident of the Mulkeytown area, died at an Evanston, Ill., hospital Friday. She lived in Wilmette, Ill. She is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Edward G. Rix and two sons. John and David Kirkpatrick, four grandchildren and one great-grandchild. Their addresses are not known. Funeral services will be held Tuesday at graveside at the Mulkeytown cemetery. The body will lie in state at the Schroeder Funeral Home in Du Quion.
