He also worked for several years at the Kerr-McGee Fertilizer Plant in Darien. He was survived by his wife, 2 granddaughters, 4 great-grandchildren, 2 sisters, and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his daughter, parents, and some siblings.
