From the book, The Fighting Men of Oklahoma: SGT Warren H. Clason, son of Mr. & Mrs. Clarence M. Clason, was born Dec. 5, 1920 at Calumet and attended Kingfisher High School. He entered the service at Oklahoma City on Sept. 8, 1942 and trained at Sheppard Field TX. SGT Clason served in the States 41 months with the 108th Army Airways Communications System Squadron at Lakeland FL, Anniston AL and Elgin Field FL. He reenlisted in the Regular Army for duty with the AAF.
