Spokane Daily Chronicle, Friday March 26, 1943, Page 3, Col. 2: Death Summons Robert Schmidt. Robert Schmidt, retired mail carrier, died yesterday at his home, W308 Twenty-ninth. He had been a resident of Spokane for 35 years and was a member of the Oriental lodge No. 74, F. & A. M., Spokane chapter R. A. M., Knights Templars and El Katif temple, Mystic Shrine. Surviving are his wife, Louise, at the home; a daughter,m Mrs. Ruth Mullay, Spokane; a sister, Miss Amelia Schmidt, and two brothers, Henry and William Schmidt, all of Cincinnati, Ohio, and two grandchildren, Robert F. and Betty Anne Mullay, both of Spokane.
