John L. Litton

Burlington Hawk Eye, Burlington, Iowa, Tuesday Morning, December 10, 1929, Page 2, Col. 6: John Litton passed away at his home here Monday noon at the age of 65. Mr. Litton suffered a stroke three years ago which left him in a weakened condition. About two weeks ago he became quite ill and has been growing weaker daily. Besides his widow he leaves four daughters by a former marriage. They are Mrs. Albert Barton of Burlington, Mrs. Charles Heckenburg of Salem, Mrs. Gordon Lawrence of Round Prairie and Mrs. C. J. Tull of Rome. Funeral services will be held Wednesday afernoon at 1 o'clock at Round Prairie, with interment in adjoining cemetery.
