The Hutchinson News, Hutchinson, Kansas, May 15, 2008: Jean Wisbey, 65, died May 12, 2008, at her home. She was born May 4, 1943, in Pittsburg, the daughter of William and Lavetta Shultz McAdams. She was a seamstress and a member of the Hutchinson Order of The Eastern Star. Survivors include: her mother Lavetta; one son, W. Allen Wisbey; two daughters, Marie McCroy and Julie Wisbey; and one brother, Jim McAdams; five grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her father, William McAdams; a daughter, Brenda Jean Wisbey; and a great-grandson, Ezekiel McCroy. Memorial service will take place at 1 p.m. Friday at Heritage Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Hutchinson, with Pastor Nate Hart presiding. Private family burial will take place at the Wildmead Cemetery, Nickerson. Cremation has taken place and there will be no visitation. Friends may sign the register at the time of service. Memorial contributions may be made to the Jean Wisbey memorial fund in care of the Hutchinson Credit Union.
