Appeal Democrat, Marysville, California, July 17, 2007: Jean M. Kirkpatrick, 78, of Yuba City died July 13, 2007, at her daughter's residence in Yuba City. Born in Overton, Neb., she recently moved to the Yuba-Sutter area after residing in Washoe County in Nevada for 56 years. She was a homemaker and owner/managing partner of K-Bilt construction and Sparks Glass Co.

Survivors include three daughters, Lynn Di Fiore of Yuba City, Shelly Smith of Westwood and Gayle Kirkpatrick of Chapel Hill, N. C.; a son, Daryl Marley of Sun Valley, Nev.; two step daughters, Carole McCurdy and Patricia Wood-Kirkpatrick, both of Sparks, Nev.; a sister, Dorothy Lefort of Sparks, Nev.; nine grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a daughter, Janene Kirkpatrick; a stepdaughter, Nancy Carstensen, and a sister, Mable Vickery.

Donations may be made to Fremont-Rideout Hospice, 1200 Williams Way, Yuba City, Ca 95991. Services: Per her request no services will be held. Inurnment arrangements are under the direction of Ulrey Memorial Chapel in Yuba City.
