Cottonwood---Howard Hance, 82, who operated the Chevron Service Station in Cordes Junction for the past 18 years, died Tuesday in Flagstaff. Services will be at 2 p.m. Friday in the Westcott Funeral Home. Burial will be in Cottonwood Cemetery. Mr. Hance was born in Camp Verde and had lived his entire life in Arizona. He was a life member of the Odd Fellows Lodge in Flagstaff. Surviving are his wife, Sylvia; one son, Dwight of Cordes Junction; one daughter, Mrs. Sandra Walker of Kingman; one stepson Charles Henderson of Kingman, two step daughters, Mrs. Robert Paup of Kingman and Mrs. Patricia Sanders of Cottonwood; four grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. Friends may call from 7-9 p.m. today at the funeral home.
