Clason, age 68, of Black Earth, died on Sunday, December 8, 1991 at a Black Earth nursing home after a long illness. She was born on June 23, 1923, the daughter of Otto and Ellen (Orcutt) Huset. On September 6, 1942, she was married to Virgil L. Clason. Mrs. Clason lived in the Black Earth area all of her life. She was a member of St. Marti's Lutheran Church, Cross Plains. Surviving are five children, Roger (Beverly) of McFarland, Judy (Ron) Lingard of Madison, David (Dale) of Black Earth, Robert (LaVonne) of Mazomanie, and Julie (David) Uselman of Black Earth; 11 grandchildren, Tom Steve, and Duane (Diane) Brandt, Sherri (Dean) Ruhland, Wendy, Tina, Tricia and Robert, Jr., and Rita Clason, and Jennifer, and David Dean Uselman; three-great-grandchildren, Travis Nathan and Tyler Ruhland; a brother, Don (Mary) Huset of Arizona; and nieces, nephews, cousins, and many friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; and her husband, Virgil, on December 15, 1980. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, December 12, 1991 at St. Martin's Lutheran Church, Cross Plains, with Reverend Rusty Wills officiating. Friends may call from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday, December 11, 1991 at the Ellestad Funeral Home, Black Earth. Interment will be in the Oak Hill Cemetery.
