Preceded in death by her husband, Arthur L. Briggs; several brothers and sisters. Born in Missouri and lived in Joliet most of her life. She was a former employee of the Louis Joliet Hotel. Funeral services from the Haley Funeral Home August 5 at 10:00 a.m. Rev. Donald McKay officiating. Interment Plainfield Cemetery, Plainfield. Visitation Thursday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorials to Ottawa United Methodist Church or the Heart Fund would be appreciated.
