From findagrave.com: Mary Brooke was born in Nebraska to Charles Irving Brooke (1874-1913) and Emma Ethel McMahan Brooke (1891-1954). Mary's father died when she was very young and her mother, Emma, then married Charles Noyes, who also had a daughter, Ella, from his first marriage. Together, Charles and Emma had 3 daughters; Neva, Annie and Helen, who were Mary's 1/2 sisters. Mary also married a Noyes; Charles William Hillary Noyes and together they had 7 children who included; Richard (who died at birth), Betty, Robert, Francis, Emma, Paul and Sharon. All the children were born in Nebraska except Sharon, who was born in Kansas. Later, they moved the family to Bakersfield, California and this is where most of them resided and raised their families.
