The Fresno Bee, Fresno, California, Wednesday, July 17, 2013: Mabel Irene Montgomery Clason was born in Patrick, Madison County, Arkansas, on July 19, 1925, the last of sixteen children, and passed away peacefully at home in Auberry, California, on July 15, 2013. She married Wilmer Lincoln Clason in Bakersfield, California, on Thanksgiving Day, November 25, 1943. He passed away January 10, 1988, and is buried at Clovis Cemetery, where she will also be buried at his side. They have ten children, all living, Montgomery Clason, Jeffrey Clason, Sharon Hollis, Shanna Ballard, Susan Cobb, Michael Clason, Sheila Talley, Patrick Clason, Mark Clason and Christopher Clason. She is survived by a sister, Doris Sullivan, of Washington state, and is also grandmother of forty-four grandchildren and fifty-three great grandchildren. A Graveside Dedication Service will be held at the Clovis Cemetery, on Friday, July 19, 2013, 9:30 a.m., followed by a Memorial Service at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, 220 North Peach Avenue, Clovis, California, at 11 a.m. In lieu of flowers remembrances may be sent to the general missionary fund of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints or to the American Heart Association.
