Bailey, age 76, died on Sunday, January 22, 2981, at the Pine Valley Nursing Home. He was born in Richland County on June 30, 1904, to Elam and Mary Sheffield Bailey. On August 9, 1924 he was married to the former Dora Clason. He was a retired employee of the former Richland County Co-op and later Wisconsin Dairies. Surviving are his wife, Dora of Richland Center; a son, Charles Bailey of Pardeeville; two daughters, Mrs. Kenneth (Olive) Salling of Lone Rock, and Mrs. Florence Keepers of Kenosha; a sister, Mrs. Milton (Madeline) Clason of Richland Center; nine grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren.Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. on Wednesday, January 14, of the Pratt Memorial Chapel with Don Hensley officiating. Burial in the Richland Center Cemetery. Friends may call at the Pratt Memorial Chapel on Tuesday, January 13, from 4-9 p.m. The family asks that flowers be omitted and that memorials may be made to the family.
