Clason, 64, a resident of Darien for 44 years, died in Lakeland Hospital Sunday morning after a long illness. The former Garnet Elaine Stoken* was born March 17, 1898 in Westby, Wis., the daughter of John and Tessa Stoken*. She was married to Albert M. Clason Oct. 19, 1918 in Rockford.

She served a number of years as a nurse. She was a member of the First Pentecostal Church, South Beloit. Survivors are her husband; three daughters, Mrs. James Harvey, Darien, Mrs. Byron Booth, Danbury, Ky., Mrs. Royal Simmons, Temple, Ariz.; one sister, Mrs,. William Benson, Evansville; two grandchildren; and one great-grandchild. She was preceded in death by two brothers.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the Betzer Funeral Home, the Rev. Joseph T. Brooks officiating. Burial will be in Darien Cemetery. Friends may call at the Betzer Funeral Home from 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday.
