Funeral services were held July 18 at 10:30 a.m. in the First Methodist Church here for Mrs. Mary E. Kirkpatrick. Born March 16, 1875, Mrs. Kirkpatrick died in Arlington July 16. Interment was in the East Bridgeport Cemetery under the direction of Hawkins Funeral Home. Mrs. Kirkpatrick was a member of the Methodist Church.

Survivors are one daughter, Edna K. Mott of Arlington; one granddaughter, Mary Maxine of Arlington; one great grandson, David Maxine of Arlington; and three sisters, Mrs. I. Elbert Nelson of Fort Worth, Mrs. J. A. Newell of Tennessee and Mrs. H. A. Denton of New Mexico.

Pallbearers were Wilson Ray, Otis Meek, B. A. Green, Clarence Kaker, Bill Sellers, and Johnnie Smith.
